LOUIS M. MORRELL - Chair

Mr. Morrell joined Emerging Artists Theatre's Board of Trustees as Chair in June 2006.
Mr. Morrell recently retired from JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was a Managing Director in Treasury responsible for the firm's Parent Company area. Mr. Morrell has broad experience in all matters of bank holding company management and holding company structure, capital planning, regulatory issues and mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He joined the company in 1970.
Mr. Morrell has significant experience in not-for profit organizations and is an active participant in community affairs. He was a member of the Board of Directors of One Stop Senior Services from 1990 to 2003, and served as President from 1995. One Stop is a not-for-profit corporation with the mission to improve the quality of life of older New Yorkers and to enable them to continue to live safely and independently in the community. Mr. Morrell continues to chair One Stop's Advisory Committee, focusing on planning and development of new models to meet the needs of New York's growing senior community.
For 6 years (1996-2002), Mr. Morrell was JPMorgan Chase's representative on the Business Committee of the Wildlife Conservation Society. The business committee was a consultative body which had the role of expanding the Society's corporate support in New York and nationwide.
Mr. Morrell also served for 4 years on the Board of Directors of Partita. Partita was a musical ensemble promoting and performing rarely heard chamber work, new compositions, as well as the well-known repertoire.
Mr. Morrell earned a B.S. degree in Administration and Management Science from Carnegie-Mellon University (1968) and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Rochester's Graduate School of Management (1970).
